Oregon Spirit Chorus was initially formed in October 2005 to sing around Salem, Oregon for the holidays. Since that time, we have become a chartered chapter of Sweet Adelines International – what an exciting journey this has been, and will continue to be!
The thing that brings us together is our love of SINGING all-American art form of barbershop harmony. Under the direction of Kathy Scheel, each week’s rehearsal is fast-paced and educational – and tons of fun! We are always looking for more good singers, so if you like to sing and are interested in finding out more about us, contact us or come to a rehearsal this Thursday and check us out. We’re sure you’ll fall in love with the beautiful sound of 4-part close harmony, the outgoing friends you’ll meet, the opportunity to perform (see the performances tab on this website), and the sheer joy of singing in this amazing ensemble.
